People are edge these day. Have you noticed?

Truthfully, I think a lot of it has to do with today’s election. The country is very divided – angrily divided. No matter what happens today, half the country is going to be upset.

No matter what happens, we need to find a way to be united. We are the UNITED States of America, after all.

We’re all in this together. As U.S. residents, we want our leaders to do a good job. So, you may or may not have voted for the victor in today’s election, but either way, let’s be united in the love for our country and united in the hope that our new president will do good things for America.

It’s time to be in prayer and not despair. Pray for our country and for our leaders.

I posted a Scripture yesterday that reminds us that God is with us always. It’s from Joshua 1:5 (NIV): “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Comforting words with the country so uneasy.

Today’s Scripture is definitely one to cling to as well.

Whatever happens, I pray for unity. I pray for our leaders. And I put my hope in the words of Scripture — that God walks with us always. Prayer is the way to combat our edginess and move forward with a bit of confidence.

What helps you when you’re “edgy,” fearful, or angry?

Let’s encourage one another.

Amen cuz, it’s scary times and I have been praying uncreasingly for God’s will and timing, and for people’s acceptance of the outcome whatever side they are on. Well said!! 🙏❤️🙏❤️🇺🇸

Thanks, Barb. I hope we can somehow be united as a country. We have to take comfort in the fact that God’s in control, and we put our hope in Him and not in men (or women) here on earth.

It’s easy to encourage when I’m encouraged and supported by you.
